A Career Studying Botanical Antioxidants

The Fall 2016 issue of “Dermatology Focus,” the Dermatology Foundation’s quarterly newsletter, featured a profile on the career of Hasan Mukhtar, PhD, Vice Chair for Research and Helfaer Professor for Cancer Research at the Department of Dermatology.

The profile glosses several decades of Mukhtar’s work, which has explored the use of antioxidants from food sources such as green tea, grapes, and pomegranates in the treatment and prevention of cancer and various skin diseases.
