In recognition of his academic accomplishments during 18 years of service to the university, Dr. Gary S. Wood (the Founding Chair of the Department of Dermatology) has received two recent honors. First, Dr. Beth Drolet (the current Chair of Dermatology) and the department faculty have established the Gary S. Wood Professorship. This professorship has been awarded to Dr. Hao Chang (Assistant Professor of Dermatology) and will help support his skin biology research. Second, Dr. Wood has been named the Dean’s Chair in Cutaneous Research by the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. This award will help support Dr. Wood’s research on cutaneous lymphomas and associated disorders.
