Greg Barsh is a faculty member at the HudsonAlpha Institute and at Stanford University. His research group studies how genes and evolution shape morphology and pattern using color variation in warm-blooded animals as a model system. His background is in medical and developmental genetics; he also leads a Clinical Sequencing Exploratory Research project on childhood genetic disorders, and is an Editor in Chief of PLoS Genetics.
