The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is an ACGME approved pediatric dermatology fellowship. Our goal is for you to develop rich expertise in caring for the most complicated medical and surgical pediatric patients with skin disease.

Position title: Associate Professor and Director of Pediatric Dermatology

Our program features:

  • Remarkable training in pediatric dermatology with 3 stellar, board-certified pediatric dermatologists who have earned dozens of accolades for teaching, clinical care and research.
  • Monthly educational conference with pediatric dermatology faculty including lectures, case conferences, and journal club.
  • Weekly educational conferences with pediatric and general dermatology faculty
  • Elective time with pediatric subspecialists from plastic surgery, hematology-oncology, allergy-immunology, infectious disease, and rheumatology, with the opportunity to build your own niche specialty focus and structure your elective time across several specialties.
  • Multi-disciplinary clinic experience including vascular anomalies and autoimmune skin disease.
  • Extensive laser training including outpatient, ambulatory surgery and OR including pulse dye, ablative fractional CO2, ablative fractional Erbium, and Lp ND-Yag for treatment of vascular anomalies and scarring.
  • Direct mentorship for career development and academic research, including the opportunity to participate in clinical trials and clinical research projects.
  • Nurturing environment with significant nursing and administrative support, so you can focus on caring for patients.

Key fellowship details:

  • One pediatric dermatology fellowship position is available each year
  • We participate in the San Francisco Matching Program
  • Fellows are expected to participate in a scholarly pursuit over the course of the academic year, which will assist in their own career development, and to actively participate in teaching the dermatology residents.
