*Why did you select the University of Wisconsin Dermatology Residency for your training?
I chose the University of Wisconsin for my dermatology training because I had the opportunity to complete an away rotation here during my fourth year of medical school. After spending a month at UW, I knew it was the place I wanted to train. I learned an incredible amount during my rotation and genuinely enjoyed my time working across the different clinics and learning from the faculty and residents. Just as importantly, I saw how supportive and collaborative the training environment was. I knew UW would challenge me, push me to grow, and provide the breadth of training and mentorship needed to prepare me to become the best dermatologist I can be.
*What do you like best about doing your dermatology training at the University of Wisconsin?
-What I like best about training in dermatology at the University of Wisconsin is the breadth of exposure I get across every aspect of the specialty. Through our various subspecialty clinics, I have the opportunity to care for a diverse range of complex conditions while learning from faculty who are leaders and experts in their respective fields. I also really value the opportunity to work with the incredible patient population through UW Health, which provides a wide variety of clinical experiences and allows me to continually grow as a physician.
