This lecture is sponsored by Geroge Reizner, MD for this year’s Wisconsin Dermatological Society meeting.
Professor George T. Reizner completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Wisconsin and joined the Division of Dermatology faculty (then a part of the Department of Medicine) in 1984. Dr. Reizner became the first Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Dermatology when it was founded in 2002, serving until 2007.
After stepping down as Vice Chair in 2007, Professor Reizner has continued to support the educational mission of the Department by sponsoring the George T. Reizner Lecture at the annual meeting of the Wisconsin Dermatological Society (president, 1999-2000), held every spring at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Reizner retired from UW Dermatology in July of 2021.
